The time has come when I'm no longer able to keep up with you. School is right around the corner for my kindergartner, and I will be starting classes this fall for my Photography.
My little one will be all mine for a whole year so I'm going to utilize the time to set up some Mommy & Me time and classes to keep her occupied... and to keep my sanity, Im starting up scrapbooking again.
( It relives stress for me!)
I really love some of you on here, and I hope to keep in contact with you.

I'm rec'ing this - we need to start a petition to keep Mrs Prosa. Once the word gets out you're leaving there will be a lot sadness!!!
I agree with Heidi; why not just leave your site up and post only when you can? Who knows, maybe we could help critique your photos for you. Feedback is always helpful. Anyway, why not think about it? You wouldn't want to do something you may regret later, right?
I'm sorry to see you go. I'll miss your writing.
I took a digital photography class myself my last semester of college, it was pretty fun. I also learned a lot. Though I still don't have confidence in my photography. I think that's the pretty important and I hope you find confidence in your work.
Also I wish I had the patience and talent for scrapbooking. I tried a little digital scrapbooking but it never works out for me.

I'm sending you a message when I'm finished with this comment because I want to keep in touch with you. You were one of my first friends when I opened this site and I will miss you, but I understand wanting to spend time with the little one while she's little. I must say, the kids do sleep though ... *wink*
I won't question your decision. Everyone has to evaluate what they can or can't do specific to their own set of circumstances. However, I will say this... you brought something very unique to Xanga that can't be duplicated. I will miss your Throwback Thursdays, your Video Blogs and sharing with us the beauty that is your family. But I will be sure to stay in touch. I'll send you a message with my contact info. Awww, I'm sad. I'm going to agree with everyone and say that it would be great if you could keep your site up and post whenever you can. At the same time, I totally understand. Either way, I'll miss you and your posts. You really bring that something extra to Xanga; it won't be the same.
